What You'll Learn
A Practical, Trauma-Informed Approach to Group Facilitation
This training blends somatic therapeutics, nervous system education, inclusive facilitation strategies, and hands-on practice. Your ability to hold space isn't about being perfect -- it's about being present. When people feel safe, they can begin to heal. You just need the tools to listen deeply and hold space with skill.
In this Training you'll learn how to:
- Understand trauma and stress responses in a group setting
- Apply nervous system and polyvagal theory in practical ways
- Regulate your own body while leading others
- Set group agreements and open/close sessions safely
- Respond to emotional expression and challenges with confidence
- Create containers that are ethical, inclusive, and accessible
- Hold non-judgmental spaces without needing to fix or perform
- Lead from clarity and structure -- while still being human
Why This Training Matters
Safe Space Isn't a Trend -- It's a Responsibility
Circles, group coaching, support groups, and wellness gatherings are becoming more common -- but too often, they're led without the skills needed to navigate trauma, emotional expression, or group dynamics.
Whether you're a professional facilitator or just beginning, this training offers a clear foundation in holding space that is intentional, inclusive, and well-supported. You'll leave with the confidence to lead with presence, attunement, and clarity -- so those you serve feel safe, seen, and supported.
Facilitation is a skill you can learn -- and a practice you can embody. This training helps you root your leadership in care, clarity, and integrity.

NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Teresa Biggs, DOM
Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Biologist, sacred space holder, and trauma-informed guide. My work lives at the intersection of science and soul -- rooted in Chinese Medicine, nervous system regulation, cyclical embodiment, and the archetypal feminine. I believe healing isn't linear, and that sacred space -- when held with intention -- can catalyze deep transformation and remembrance.
Over the years, I've facilitated retreats, workshops, classes, group programs, healing circles, and one-on-one sessions -- working with hundreds of participants across a wide range of identities and life experiences. Whether I'm guiding a large group or holding space for one person, I bring grounded presence, clear boundaries, and deep reverence for each individual's innate capacity to heal.
